As an employee of the University, we encourage you to join the pension plan.  Depending on your yearly salary, you will make contributions of 7.2% – 9%.  The University will match your contributions.  Participation is compulsory after 2 years of consecutive employment where earnings are greater than 35% of the YMPE.
