The MFL, working with a community of concerned citizens, have organized a response to the Campaign Life Coalition Manitoba’s scheduled rally at the Legislature on Thursday October 3rd.

The Anti-Choice community has ramped up their efforts to gain legitimacy in the public eye by mounting a new threat to women’s right to choose.  They are calling this rally “Manitoba Defund Abortion Rally” and their objective is to end public funding of abortions through our health care system.  Not only is this a threat to women controlling their body, their right to publicly funded reproductive health services, and their right to choose between being pregnant or not, it is also a pandora’s box of hand-picking which aspects of our publicly funded health care will remain publicly funded
